These are terms you may or may not be familiar with, it may help with those getting started or just looking around :)
RGC= Registered Grand Champion
GC= Grand Champion (must be registered to be a GC)
leg= a leg is when a rabbit wins their class and is awarded a slip of paper which is called a leg. A rabbit must win at least 3 GC legs to be granded. At least one must be as a Senior. They cannot all be from the same judge.
Senior: A rabbit reaching 6 months of age
Junior: A rabbit between 8 weeks-6 months of age
kit: baby rabbit under the age of 8 weeks
Some meat breeds also have an Intermediate age between 6-8 months of age
Broken: White with colored spots
Solid: Solid colored rabbit, should not have any white hairs (unless it is a white rabbit) and no white nails (unless it is a white rabbit)
REW: Ruby Eyed White rabbit
BEW: Blue Eyed White rabbit (they require a great deal of time, space and outcrossing, they are beautiful though and are definitely a challenge if you're up for one!)
ME= Mucoid Enteritis, a disease often induced when stressed. A very good reason to bring your bunny home and keep it calm and quiet for the first couple of days, they can be delicate creatures.
GI Stasis-this is often the result of going to a new environment and being young
Megacolon is in true charlie marked rabbits, both parents must be broken colored.
